Dave & Marge Lipscomb: May 2008

Well, here we go again. A whole month went by. We had a three week trip to New Jersey.

We took our camper on this trip north, and we stopped in Wade, North Carolina at a wonderful KOA camp site. It was just too funny to see two rookies trying to get the water, electric and sewage connected.

Since we last posted here, we did a few cool things and went to a few new places. Oh we have also seen a few of the latest flicks out "IRONMAN",NATIONAL TREASURE II, INDIANA JONES and The Chronicles of NARNIA Prince Caspian

My Honey and I finally went to see the off Broadway show WICKED, it was just fabulous.

Oh ,then it was my choice of something special and that was a trip to the Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum.

We are still loving this place!

Hello out there,

We have been off the blog for some time now as we were settling into the new house, however we plan on adding this information to the site. And then keep the site up on a monthly bases.

We have been seeing a lot of the current movies and going to some of the shows ere at the resort.

Since we were last on the blog a lot of things have changed, our sun porch addition is done we acquired 144sf more space. Dave has removed the whole back yard and put in a 12' x 16' cobblestone patio surrounded by a flower bed. He then put in a full back yard of sod, it is beautiful and looks so green.

Now we are putting together our summer trip to New Jersey jun 5th to the 23rd to see Dave's newest grandson Mason by daughter Becky.

Dave's older son Gary, has been redeployed to the Middle East he will we stationed in the Green Zone of Baghdad, Iraq. his second son Brian is also scheduled for deployment to Baghdad June 18th he will be some 30miles away, stationed at the Baghdad International Airport.

As you can tell by the top pic Dave is now working part time as a Park Patrol Officier here at the resort, boy he could tell you some funny stories, mostly how he has to be so courtesy with the people and be on standby at all times. He also is a member of the CERT team here at the part, which for now only requires a once a month meeting. He has been so busy with everything he has no time for any Golf!!

Attached are some current Pic so you can see what we look like these days, don't look at Dave's teeth he is getting them worked on since he had on broke off eating pizza. We purchased a tag along trailer to use when we go to New Jersey, St Augstine, Jetty Park, Key West and other places to save on hotel room cost.
