December 2008

Well another month and also another year has gone by and so quickly.

We were in NJ for the Christmas holidays and it was cold, cold, cold. We so love to visit there but can’t wait to get back home to Florida.

The visit was short. However, we did get to visit(10) ten different families in eight different locations end two different states. All the grandchildren are growing so fast and little Mason is almost walking. We now have a collection of eleven grandchildren: 1 in college (Samantha); 2 in High School (Kendall and Shelby); 2 in Middle School (Hayley, Ronnie (soon to be grandchild); 4 in Elementary School (Kara, Ryan, Kristen, Julia); and 2 in pre-school. One in the oven

The folks here in Florida do decorate for the Christmas Season. We have included a few pics of the Christmas Parade in Mount Dora and our Golf Kart Parade here at TGO.

With all that was going on in December we managed to get in a camping weekend in at historical Mount Dora area. While there, we had a chance to visit some friends who relocated to Florida a couple of years ago from NJ.

We have heard from both sons in Bagdad, Iraq and they are fine, safe and have actually had lunch together on several occasion.

We stopped in Virginia on our return trip home to visit Gary’s wife Mery who is due any day now.

Our friends Alice and John from NJ are visiting Florida for three months and along with us attended the New Years celebration her at TGO.
