Dave & Marge in Florida
Hello, and we hope you had a wonderful 4th of July celebration. This is the time of the year in which we prepare all of our activities for the rest of this year and those for the beginning of next year ie 2009-2010.
It's very quiet here in the resort as 60% of the residents are snowbirds and have flown home for the summer. We love it this time of the year its so relaxed and not as hectic. Oh and there's more room in the pools.
Dave took a short trip to the hospital with a heart rate of 237 and high blood pressure. He hasn't been to the hospital since he had the pace maker put in 4 years ago. He knows one of the leads is not where it should be according to the last xrays taken and the metronics representatives past evaluation on the pace maker. However his Heart doctor says he will be ok since he was not feeling any significant difference, but the unit was working twice as hard to get it objective rates and the battery life may only last 5-7 years vs the normal 9 years exspected. All in all he spent the night in the Hospital so they could get his rate back to normal and changed ( increased ) his medications. It so happened that his regular heart doctor was on call at the hospital at the time he was admitted. He was released the next afternoon. The following Monday he had to go get yet, another EKG, Blood Test and visit the doctors. office.
Can't wait to take the trip up north the last week in August and to see the two heroes back from the Middle East along with the little grandchildren.
This month has been busy as all the rest in the past Dave works 2-3 days a week while I do my Yoga, Zumba,Bowling and Cards"Hand & Foot". We went to the local Playhouse to see "The Phantom of the O'prey" what a show.
Our monthly camping trip, we all dressed the theme of Gilligan's island. We had a scavenger hunt, trivial game, and foods of the Island. We look forward to the camp outs every month.
Our activities committee here at the park had an indoor cookout cover dish Dinner Dance here at the resort for the 4th of July.

Our TV went down with a very expensive blue line repair needed on it.
We had to get a 46"Samsung LCD-HDTV..................
RV purification system, still need the charcoal filter and dual holding units..........
