How are you?
We had a great Month. Our granddaughter, Shelby, from NJ flew down for a week and Shelby went with us on our monthly campout for August 09 River Ranch in southern Florida . The campsite was great, wooden platform with a fire pit and swings. The whole place was beautifully landscaped. The weather didn't cooperate so much. When we went to a pool party it was thundering and I know where there is thunder, there must be lightning and it did rain some. The evening we went to the rodeo it rained. Fortunately we were under cover but not the performers. The food was good for the potluck. We had blueberry pancakes Saturday morning. They had a western general store and we ate pizza there Saturday night. Dave and Shelby went for an air boat ride in the morning. When we got home on Sunday around noon we had to hurry up and get ready to go see "Grease" at the Titusville Playhouse 2pm. It was fun.
We were so glad that something was playing Shelby would enjoy.

Shelby helped Dave put on the storm shutters just in case and then we packed and it was off to NJ in our new RV a 24' self contained Freelander by Coachmen. Once we hit NJ two days later, It rained a couple days and was not as warm like Florida a couple days were okay. You know (Marge) she loves the real hot weather best. We did a little more driving to to do to get to Phompton Lakes in Northern New Jersey to visit Marge's Aunt Marge & Uncle Bob also Marge's sister Sherry and her children. Aunt Marge was so nice to prepare lunch for us once we arrived in Northern NJ. They are always so acommadating while we travel up that way, thank you again for your northern hospitality.
However the weather, it was great to see all and the grandchildren. They are growing up so fast. We visited a couple of friends from Marge's school days in Tabernacle. Dave's daughter Becky invited us over along with Amy and her kids for swimming, Dave couldn't get enough of the little guy Mason.
Samantha, Amy's oldest went to Harding Univ in Searcy, Arkansas before we got there, this is the same college our granddaughter from Missouri is going to.
On the way home we stopped to see Dave's son Gary and his family in Newport News Va. He's in the military at Fort Euthis.
