Hello, all we miss you ...........................................

September is over, and our Blog site needs updating. We have done so much over the past 30 days I don’t know where to start.

Well we’ve been lucky so far with the hurricanes, nothing severe in this area. Of course the season isn’t over yet. We’re located just right, southeast of Orlando, next to the Kennedy Space Center. We seem to get the safest weather and get to see the shuttles go up all the time Two more are on deck and one of the two is ready to go up in mid October and the other in mid-November. It’s unbelievable how many people come to see the lift offs thousands line the banks of the Indian River across from Canaveral.

I’m glad you we have a blog site. So we can keep everyone informed of out near daily activities. And Update them monthly. All our relatives and friends.
Even Dave’s sons in Iraq can see what going on back here in the states.

We keep pretty busy. Dave works 2 or 3 days a week. We walk at least 2 or 3 days when he has off. Marge is going to Yoga, Curves, and Bowling. We go camping with The Giant Recreation World Gold Club once a month. This month it was Silver River State Park near Ocala Florida. The water in the river we we Canoed in was crytal clear. Next month we are going on a bus/train trip (fall foliage) to Helen, Georgia and the Mountains of Tennessee. And then to Lake Ockechobee in South Florida “alligatorville” and a Christmas Tour of a swank little town of “Mount Dora” in December. We also try our best to go to the many activities here in the Resort and to the local Playhouse downtown in the Historical District and of course we go to the movies weekly.
Lately we have been attending “Friday Night Lights” with the local High School “Titusville Terriers” football team with a Record 2W-1L Marge has a gold card so she gets in all the activities for free. Dave has to wait until November 11 as he is still (just a youngster).

Marge’s daughter Amy and her younger son “Tommy” fiancée, Lucy, flew down fron New Jersey and surprised Marge on her birthday (Sept 1).ie65 They were here for 4 days. She was really surprised. Dave did know about it,and kept the secret. We had a great visit and a lot of laughs. She wanted to go home with them but you know how she feels about flying.

Marge’s older son Jeff’s daughter, Kendall is a senior this year and will graduate in May. She has an early acceptance to Harding University where Mom & Dad -Jeff and Angie went to college. Kara is in 4th grade and Kristen is in 2nd. Marge’s daughter Amy’s her child a daughter, Samantha graduated from Cherokee High School this past June and attends Burlington County Community College.
The middle daughter Shelby is a sophomore, Hayley is in 8th grade, Ryan is in 3rd grade, and Julia is in 1st. Amy is thinking about getting a job. We hope it works out. We know how hard it is to work and raise a family!

As you can see by the attached pic Dave’s grandchildren are growing fast and his two son’s are both in Iraq. We are very proud of their service to the county.

Behind the design is a walk thru Shower. We visited one of the new homes in the Resort Park which belongs to our neighbors daughter and her husband.
Their Atrium includes a small indoor pool, the home was perfect and Marge wants one just like it, like I said its a Dream for her................It is an $875000.00 plus home.............

We had to settle for a Carport for our modest little home.

This is the extent of damage we received from Hurricain Fay we only had several streets with
4-6" of water no homes were flooded as we are all 30" above grade.......................

Our newest Hero Mason, he is four months old now.......................................

We now attend a local High School "Titusville Terriers" football team games with a season of 2w 1Loss so far. We get in free since we are old................................................

While home on leave from tour #1 in Afganistan, Gary meet Mery who is now our first daughter in law on David's side of our family tree. Welcome Mery, hope to see you soon....................

Mery's family is from Peru, They plan on a trip there next year...............
