Well Las Vegas what can we say!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's quite the place. We got up early, did some laundry and then off to the city. We found free city parking. That was a plus. It's quite a melting pot of people. Of course the first thing we did when we arrived was got a cup of coffee. Then we walked around to take in all the sights. We stopped in Paris Las Vegas to see how much the tickets were for "The Producers." Well, you know Dave the first thing he asked was do you have any free tickets. After talking to the ticket agent about Dave serving in the Army and his two sons being in the Army also, she gave us complimemtary tickets. We were so excited, Tony Danza was one of the stars in the show. We decided to walk around some more, purchase some postcards and shirts and take them back to the car. We also visited an exhibit of Madame Tussaus. We couldn't believe how real the people looked. It was eerie!!!! We had dinner at "Bill's Gamblin Hall & Saloon" in the Victorian Room. Then we wanted to get to our show. We were waiting on line to go in to the show and started realizing it was past 7:45 when we were suppose to be able to get in the theater. No sooner, then they told us the show was cancelled. Someone said the curtains wouldn't open. Who knows. What a bummer - free tickets - no show! On the way down the strip we stopped for ice cream and then we heard some Hawaiian drums beating. We investigated and stopped to see their show.
All in all we had a great time but don't think we need to come back as a priorty. Tomorrow we are heading to Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. Keep posted for the pictures.
Oh, as you can see my Honey played the slot machines and won.
