Its Sunday, the day of rest, well not when you're on travel, We had plenty of things to do today. The first was to say bye to Peek-O-Boo, whom I did not care for in a Hotel setting, anyway we said bye and took a picture.
After that we went to get the car washed as it was getting filthy with the bugs all over the front end. Then we started our travel day with a stop at an 1880 Town just outside of Cody, Wy. It was great as you can see in the photo's it was just like being back in the old cowboy times. After that we went over to the Buffalo Bill Dam. The dam was the very first in the United States and the largest in the world in the year it was completed 1910.
Then there was Yellowstone. Yes it was just like the pictures you see and what you may have heard, big, beautiful and full of wild animals. 45 MPH is the speed limit there, it should be 30 the curves are so sharp and the road edge is so near 100-200 foot drops. A little bit scary for Marge!
We really injoyed the free roaming wild animals and the geysers (especially Old Faithful). It took us 6 hours to get thru that park, mountain after mountain, Thousands and thousands of trees, people and campers everywhere. Once we exited the park it was time for sleep, eat & a shower. Tomorrow we are off to Boisie , Idaho in route to Portland ,Oragon.
