Hey can ya see me out here?

It's windy, cold and off season, no wonder we are the only two people on the beach.

On our way to Crescent City California to see the Redwoods, we just had to stop at Oregon City to visit the end of the Oregon Trail National Site.

We also enjoyed a stop and talk, oh about 1/2 hour or so with the local Oregon Visitors Center staff, Carmen a real sweet lady,before we headed on to California.

We didn't make it all the way to California, because we have taken the Pacific Ocean Scenic Byway U.S 101, which only allowed us to travel at speeds of 45-50 mph and to constantly stop to see this or that.

But who cares we have no real schedule we are retired on a long-long vacation and need a day off here and there to rest up on vacationing. So we only got as far as Newport,Oregon which is about 200 miles from the California border.


We did get to put our feet into the Pacific Ocean today and stop early to catch up on the bills via the Internet.
