Happy Halloween

No this is not Dave in a halloween outfit. It's the mascot for the local Ice Hockey team , "THE MUDBUGS" in Shrevesport, LA.
































The Ice Hockey arena is new and state of the art.
































Thank you Jack & Carol for taking us to our first live ice hockey game.

This is Jack & Carol , Marge's sister & brother-in-law at the game.

The game was intense all the way up to the Mudbugs loss in the last 2 minutes of the game.

Earlier in the day we spent the morning shopping at the Boardwalk on the Red River.

We rode the trolley which went up and down the boardwalk area. We should have walked after we had that cheesecake!

Dallas, Texas

Today was a day of rest, we were up at 8:00 am, got dressed and ate breakfast. We did have to do laundry. Then off to Walmart and a movie " The Kindom" We highly recomend it. We ate dinner and then went to the jacuzzi.

Off to Springfield, MO tomorrow to visit Marge's son and family.

Dallas Texas.....................

We are here for three days. We went to the Sixth Floor Museum downtown. This is the name of the area to which the Nation,State & City of Dallas have given to the memorial in reference to the date, time & place to where John F. Kennedy was assinated over 44 years ago. Boy did that time go by fast.

In the after noon we went to the "Cotton Bowl" and the surrounding area for the annual Texas State Fair. Their fair in Texas is really nice. Tomorrow we are resting, sleeping in til noon and catching an afternoon movie.
