San Antonio,Texas
We spent the entire day in downtown San Antonio, and could have spent more time. There's just too much to see in one day. We did get to take a boat ride down on the "Riverwalk" and have dinner at the Casa Rio restaurant on the sidewalk of the Riverwalk. We also made time to go to the Alamo the first thing this morning as they were having a special event today. The celebration of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas were recognized for their keeping the Alamo as a National Historical Site " Shrine." All day long they had activities. We were lucky to be here on this special day.
Later we will plan our next stop (Houston) Kingwood, Texas before moving on to Dallas for a day at the BIG Texas State Fair. Can't wait to show Marge they go all tout. If we were there today we could have seen Billy Ray Cyrus but we ain't gonna be there until tomorrow so we have to settle for Miranda Lambert ( Whoever she is ?).
We can't send emails too well nor can we answer them as we would like due the wireless abilities of the specific hotels we stay in. Sometimes we have access to send email and other times we don't so don't be concerned if we don't reply right away or at all to your emails. Also to all of you who have sent us comments on our blog site we say thank you.

Saw your pictures of the "CANYON". Brings back memories. Didn't I tell you that words were not enough to explain what you were seeing? Other than WOW or Sh_t, how long did it take to say one word when you got the first look over the edge? See ya both later,kreisner@msn.com Carl
