Houston - Kingwood, Texas
Here we are having our "dunch" at a local Chinese Restaurant.
Today we drove from San Antonio,Tx over to Houston / Kingwood, not just to see what the city of Houston looks like, but also to visit some special friends of my Honey's, Ken & Sandy McLeod. Marge knew them when they lived back in Tabernacle, NJ
We suprised them with a visit to their home within a development called "A Village in the Forest". It is really a neat neighborhood. The whole place, homes, stores, offices, schools, churches and even the places to eat are within a forest setting where only the trees needed to be removed and relocated, during the development and construction.
We have included a picture of Ken & Sandy along with Marge. We spent a couple hours visiting with them and going over the stories of yesterday's and of our recent travels. We hope we didn't keep them up too late as they both have to work in the morning. Ken and Sandy if you read this, we want to thank you for having us over. Marge was so happy to see you. We know it was very unexpected but we couldn't pass up the stop as we were so close.
