We spent another day at the same motel in Grand Canyon today. It was a morning of pure rest. In the afternoon we drove 42 miles to a historical town called " Williams." What a great place! It is the next to the last stop on Route 66 before its ending in LA. We really enjoyed the town and its history regarding Route 66. If we had known earlier that such a place existed we would have stayed in this neat little historical town. We had lunch in the famous Route 66 Diner and walked around the town. We were too late getting back to the Grand Canyon for the sunset. Oh well we did get to see a few mule deer grazing, and a final look at the Canyons before we move on to the Painted Desert, Indian Reservations and the Petrified Forest Area.

HI Marge and Dave,
the pics of Grand Canyon are fabulous. When both of you are in pics is someone else taking the pic or do you have it timed and set on something.
Routr 66 sure looks like a blast from the past.
