We were here already Marge. I know it's a cool place but we gotta be moving on to that area over there, the Petrified Forest.
We started driving to a town called Holbrook on Route #89 to visit the Mystic Crater and to be located right next to the Petrified Forest and The Painted Desert. In order to get to Route #89 we had to take Route #64 the Souther Rim and Desert View of the Grand Canyon.
As you can see some good shots of the Canyon were found in that area. We have settled into the Comfort Inn in Holbrook, AZ and will rest for the night. Tomorrow morning we will hit the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert and then head over to New Mexico so we can take in a day at the Four Corners - New Mexico. Colorado, Arizona, and Utah.
